Meet Your Personal Speech Therapy & Special Education Liaison

About Amy

There is a significant gap between the pediatric therapy services available to kids and their parents’ ability to successfully access them.

Amy has worked in private speech clinics, pediatric home health companies, and Texas public schools for the better part of the past fifteen years. While each setting has its pros and cons, she has seen one consistent theme: parents are not receiving the assistance they need to understand the services available to their children and effectively access them. Amy can help bridge that gap. Reach out for more information on how to best support your child (and yourself!) as you navigate pediatric speech therapy in the private/medical and/or educational settings.

I have attended and/or led hundreds of ARD meetings and want every parent to understand the process in order to partner with the school for their child’s ultimate success.

I can help you understand the school’s legal obligations, the timelines involved, your and your child’s rights, acronyms and verbiage used, etc. I will also address any questions you have about your child’s specific situation. While I specialize in speech therapy services, I can help with general questions about special education services, too. Testimonials

Our family has such a meaningful history with Amy—from our son’s initial speech evaluation to the pivotal work she did supporting our daughter during her dyslexia diagnosis. I witnessed in real time how her expertise transformed my children’s speech and, more importantly, their confidence as communicators. Amy has a rare ability to connect with kids, earn their trust, and help them truly find their voice. She is not only exceptionally talented at what she does, but a genuinely wonderful human being—one children love working with and parents deeply trust.
